Tom started his real estate experience in 2011 with a 4-plex and mini storage units. After a year he soon learned that he didn’t like dealing with residential tenants, renovated the property and sold it for double of what he paid for it, creating a 20X return on his investment which he used as a down payment into his first commercial property. Tom was a licensed real estate agent in the State of Iowa from 2011 until 2016.
In 2018, Tom discovered the world of NNN Lease Commercial Real Estate after meeting a local investor. Since then, he has acquired over $74.2 million in commercial real estate with a focus on NNN Lease in high traffic areas with national tenants and long term leases. Tom has experience in value-add development by re-developing multiple properties and bringing new life and tenants to them while increasing the long term value of the property. Tom has created a network of professionals on his team of brokers, contractors, investors, attorneys, and accounting as the business continues to grow. He regularly attends real estate focused conferences and seminars to continue to grow his network of contacts, expand his education in the space, and deepen his involvement in the industry.
